What is Ozonated Water?
Often called aqueous ozone or engineered water, ozonated water is a green cleaner made from regular tap water with
nothing else added. The oxygen in the water is activated using an ozone-generating device that transforms water
into a powerful cleaner and proven sanitizer. The USDA and the FDA have granted aqueous ozone GRAS (Generally Recognized
as Safe) approval for direct contact with food products.
How It Works
BoiE's ozone laundry system is quickly installed by attaching two wall screws using an included mounting template.
The cold water hose from the washer is attached to one side of the unit while he cold water supply is attached
to the other side using an included hose. A 12-volt AC wall adapter is plugged into the bottom of the unit. If
the unit's power switch is left off, the washer functions normally without adding ozone.
When the unit's power switch us left on, ozone gas is dissolved into the tap water using a special injector whenever
cold water is flowing. The water quickly reaches a level of ozonation that will remove dirt and odors. When infused
with water, ozone and other reactive molecules break down contaminants much faster than chemical disinfectants
or soap. Organic contaminants dissolve into carbon dioxide and water. The aqueous ozone produces no harmful byproducts
or chemical residue that can remain on surfaces.

Great for high-touch surfaces

Keeps fruits and vegetables fresh
I mostly use it to clean fruits and vegetables, especially spinach and green leaf lettuce. After spraying with
ozone I use gallon bags for storage. Fruits and vegetables I clean this way stay fresh and crisp for a lot longer,
especially organic strawberries which tend to go bad sooner without the ozone spray.
